Road drive from FARIDABAD TO KERALA

Getting Started

Begin with a fresh 7-8 hour of sleep, a Black tea, biscuits and smiles

Check tyre pressure the previous night with tyre in cold conditions

If possible fill Nitrogen which shall act as a coolant for tyres on long journey

Prepare a route Map with a Destination in mind in every 250 kms

Keep cushions for the passengers to relax during the long hours of drive

Kindly ensure to drive with your shoes on instead of slippers, to get good grip on the drive

Take necessary consumables like (packed) Junk food, napkins, wet wipes and basic medicines

*If you have women with you remind them for their cosmetic kits and yourself for money

Click the first photograph when you leave, check for the Odometer starting reading and the fuel

Day 1 (Delhi - Vadodhara)

Route Covered - Home - Gurgaon - Jaipur - Ajmer - Bhilwara - Udaipur - Vadodhara

Total Toll - Rs 840

Time taken - 15 hrs

Day 2 (Godhara to Pune)

Route Covered - Godhara - Vadodhara - Surat - Mumbai - Pune - Satara

Total Toll - Rs 915

Time taken - 12 hrs

Distance travelled - 673 kms

The journey continues with...

Info from locals that rains have led to floods in Vadodhara

Roads are blocked due to logging and nothing goes by

Day 3 (Satara to Bengaluru)

Route Covered - Satara - Kohlapur - Belgaum - Davangere - Tumkur - Bangalore

Our third day starts ...

Had some great time, rest and food

Without hot water shower is bit tough but it wakes you well

Still dark outside and a bit cold due to showers

Day 4 (Bengaluru to Kerala)

Route Covered - Bangalore - Dharmagiri - Salem - Dindingul - Tenkasi - Punalur - Pathanamthitta

Total Toll - Rs. 482/-

Time taken - 11:30 hrs

Distance travelled - 679 kms

Travellers - 3 (all healthy but sleepy)

The final leg starts ...

Highly Excited day as this marks the destination

The happiness and proud of making it already pushes you

I could not sleep and been waiting for the other two since 0230, ANXIETY
